Characteristics

L-43LH is an extra low hydrogen type electrode suitable for welding thick mild steel with high restraint where cracks tend to occur, root pass of butt jointsof 490 to 780MPa high tensile strength steel and overhead fillet with low heat input of 490MPa high tensile strength steel due to its excellent crack resistance. Preheating temperature required to prevent cracks in the first pass welding can be decreased.
