Characteristics

S-16V is a low hydrogen type electrode for vertical downward
butt and fillet welding. This welding efficiency is twice as high as vertical upward welding since high current is used. The weld metal shows high crack resistance and excellent mechanical properties and, therefore, it is applicable for various types of steel. It is used with vertical downward gravity welders and assure high efficiency.
