Characteristics

YF-800 is a pumiceous flux. Flux consumption rate is low and slag removal is excellent especially in flat and horizontal fillet welding. The combination has good tolerance to scales and rust of plates and, therefore, welding defects such as pits and blowholes scarcely occur.

Applications

Flat and horizontal fillet welding of mild steel and 490MPa high tensile strength steel for bridges, steel frames, structures and ships.
