Characteristics

NF-250 is a high basic type flux and chemical composition rarely changes even in multi-layer welding. The slag is extremely easy to remove in narrow gap welding. The weld metal shows excellent toughness.

Applications

Narrow gap welding of ASTM A302B and A533B steel for nuclear reactor pressure vessels.
