Characteristics
SM-1F is a rutile type seamless flux cored arc welding wire filled mainly with metallic powder to be used with CO2 shield gas. The weld metal shows excellent resistance to pitting in the welding of steel plates coated with inorganic zinc primer.
Applications
Flat and horizontal welding of mild steel and 490MPa high tensile strength steel for ships, bridges and steel frames.
