Characteristics
SF-N309L is a Self-Shielded seamless flux cored arc welding wire of type 309L stainless steel. Shielding gas is unnecessary and welding cost is reducible. It is a few spatters, easily removable slag and a smooth bead appearance. In addition, the X-ray quality and the Mechanical properties of the weld metal is excellent.
Applications
Welding of dissimilar metal such as type 304L to carbon steel, welding the clad side of type 304L clad steels and cladding (surfacing) of stainless steel to carbon steel.
