Stainless Steel / Ar+O2 Solid wire YM-316
Characteristics
YM-316 is a gas metal arc welding wire to be used with Ar+0.5 to 2%O2 shield gas. The arc is stable, the bead appearance is beautiful with outstanding edge wetting and the weldability is satisfactory. The weld metal of 18%Cr-12%Ni-2%Mo contains an adequate amount of ferrite and shows excellent resistance to hot cracking.
Applications
Welding of SUS316 such as 18%Cr-12%Ni-2%Mo Stainless Steel for chemical engineering and power plants.
